SEO Change Constantly

Every year Search Engine Optimization upgrades and changes. These changes are mainly changed by Google because this search engine has the largest influence for sure.
So, what is changed recently? I will show you some important changes and upgrades that are related to Search engine optimization in general:
  • Meta Tags – Today, a meta tags (description and keyword) are less useful than before. Well, they are important, but today the most important thing is content than these tags. Some search engines still have a large importance for these.

  • Canonical URL’s – Search engines employ canonical URLs in order to assign importance to web pages and to reduce indexing of duplicate pages. Web crawlers perform URL canonization in order to avoid crawling the same resource more than once.
  • Site Speed – Google has include a website speed as next ranking factor when they are consider to rank a website. Google want to make sure that faster web pages rank better than slower ones. Page speed would not be a tremendously weighed factor, unless the site takes 90 seconds to load.
  • Content Importance – A website content is important more than ever. The modern search engines are smart enough to find out which contents are quality and which contents are not. The quality content is important – much more than meta tags today.
  • Social Media SEO – Today, most search engines knows to analyze the traffic from popular social media sites and services. There are significant benefits from combining search engine optimization and social media marketing tactics ranging from increased social network discovery via search to the ability to attract links for improved SEO in general.
So, these are only the most important changes happened to SEO recently. You should care about all these facts and changes when you are trying to optimize your sites for search engines!
